Marketing isn't the only way to grow your business. Acquisitions are another great approach.

Earlier this year I bought a marketing tool called Answer the Public.

Every day I literally get 100s of emails asking if I accept guest posts on NeilPatel.com. I get it... people want the link juice. But do these guest posting links even help? Because if I was Google it's not hard to see if a linking page contains words like: guest post, guest author, guest contributor, etc. So we decided to analyze 1091 sites that accept guest posts to see what their impact is on rankings.
